Eaton’s Wiring Devices has expanded its offering of healthcare receptacle solutions with the launch of its hospital grade EZ Link™ Modular Decorator and Duplex Receptacles and Slim GFCI Receptacles.
The code-compliant healthcare devices are an expansion to its popular lines of innovative, quick install devices, addressing efficient and labor-saving solutions.
The EZ Link Modular Decorator and Duplex Receptacles boast an intuitive arrow-shaped design, allowing the connector to slide and lock into place on the back of the device, ensuring a secure connection. Guide rails are molded into the back of each device for accurate alignment to reduce installation errors. Release wings provide an easy, one-handed release of the device. The EZ Link devices enable installers to wire a connector during rough-in and easily and quickly install the device at trim-out, saving time and skilled labor hours.
The Slim Hospital Grade GFCI Receptacles, offered in Standard, Tamper Resistant and Tamper and Weather Resistant models, feature a 1.03-inch depth profile; wider TEST/RESET buttons; and an intuitive large reset indicator light, which allows the user to easily identify a trip incident to quickly reset the device, eliminating unnecessary contractor call backs. In case of a unit failure, an end-of-life indicator light flashes red for easy identification of a device failure. The receptacles are also easily identifiable with noticeable hospital grade identification markings.
