We’ve seen a trend in recent years toward narrow luminaires. Tessie Slotted, for example, took off overnight. Specifiers often mount outdoor sconces on columns where a typical outdoor sconce won’t work as they’re too wide.
When designing Sadie we realized narrow is a popular trend. We decided to go ultra narrow here, providing a sleek profile ideal for a myriad of applications.
3” Depth
We’ve chosen to exceed ADA requirements. Our customers want fixtures that hug the wall. We get it. Often specifiers want recessed slots outdoors. The cost to install is high. Installation has its challenges. Here we offer a cost-effective means of achieving this look.
Ambient Light
We’ve also seen a trend toward fixtures which generate ambient light. Ambient light helps us feel safe, creates a sense of comfort. We’ve also seen an increase in the number of outdoor sconces used on buildings in North America. More light = safety, security.
