The Mudr AlCove 3 in. & 4 in. recessed mud-in channels feature a unique scoop design that creates an attractive light gradient in walls. The versatile channels can be mounted in ceiling drywall as a wall wash or lower in the wall below eye line with the light engine facing down to provide floor illumination, as well as above eye level with the light engine facing up for ceiling illumination.
For optimal performance, the aluminum Mudr AlCove channels are designed to easily wrap around corners without the need for soldering or corner connectors that can create dark spots. The linking system provides a straightforward solution for connecting and perfectly aligning profile sections, ensuring a seamless, unified appearance without visible gaps or misalignment.
The channels feature a paintable surface, ensuring seamless integration with any décor or color palette. The channels are easy to install by simply placing the channel against the wall or ceiling and screw it into place. The grooved flanges allow for easy mud-in and painting.
The 4-inch recessed channel is compatible with 5/8-inch drywall, while the 3-inch channel can be installed in both 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch drywall for added flexibility.
The products are sold in complete kits (4 ft. or 7 ft.) to create a finished fixture in the field or custom lengths are available through Alloy LED’s build-to-order program.
