Sigma Electric Rolls Out New Sigma Engineered Solutions Branding

Changes reflects the company’s expanded capabilities and supply chain solutions

In recognition of the company’s growing range of products and services, Sigma Electric is changing its name to Sigma Engineered Solutions. The change speaks to the value the company creates through the sum of its world-class engineering, state-of-the-art manufacturing, first-time-right quality, and superior customer service across the globe.

Headquartered in Garner, N.C., Sigma Engineered Solutions manufactures high-quality castings and precision metal stamping products for applications that include power transmission and distribution, electrical, telecom, e-mobility, aerospace, and solar. Founded in 1982, Sigma has grown from one plant in India to a global manufacturing company with 13 facilities across the U.S., India, and Mexico.

“The new Sigma Engineered Solutions name reflects our evolution into a global solutions provider of highly engineered, complex metal components, including machined components and precision metal sensors and connectors,” said Vagner Finelli, president and chief executive officer of Sigma Engineered Solutions. “With more than 500 highly skilled engineers on staff, we can design, develop, and produce high-quality custom products that solve diverse connectivity needs.”

Going forward, Sigma Engineered Solutions will consist of two divisions: Sigma Castings and Sigma Connectivity, which includes the precision metal stamping capabilities the company gained in its December 2019 acquisition of Tooling Dynamics.

In addition to the name change, the company is unveiling a new, more contemporary logo that portrays the connectivity solutions that its products deliver to a growing range of market applications. The company has also launched a new website that provides customers with more information and resources to help develop custom solutions for their businesses.

“One thing that will not change is our commitment to being a company that is great to do business with – a company customers can trust to provide them with products and services that solve their di- verse connection needs,” Finelli added.
